রংপুরের জিরোপয়েন্টের কাছারি বাজার এলাকা থেকে মাত্র ১০০ গজ দক্ষিণে মুন্সিপাড়া। এ পাড়ারই এক বিশাল মাঠের পাশে কেরামতিয়া জামে মসজিদ। পাশেই শ্যামাসুন্দরী খাল। প্রখ্যাত আলেম হজরত মাওলানা কেরামত আলী জৌনপুরী (রহ.)-এর নামে এ মসজিদ। তিনি ভারতের উত্তর প্রদেশের জৌনপুরে জন্ম নিলেও জ্ঞানের আলো ছড়িয়েছেন রংপুর অঞ্চলে। ১৮৭৩ সালে তিনি মারা যান। মোগল স্থাপত্যরীতির সঙ্গে বঙ্গীয় রীতির মিশেলে নির্মিত এই মসজিদটির তিনটি গম্বুজ, প্রতিটির মধ্যবর্তী স্থানে প্রস্ফুটিত পদ্মফুলের ওপর কলসমেটিক চূড়া।
