গুঠিয়া মসজিদ বরিশাল

বরিশাল-বানারীপাড়া সড়ক ধরে এগোলেই উজিরপুর উপজেলা। সড়কের পাশে গুঠিয়ার চাংগুরিয়া গ্রাম। এ গ্রামেই আছে দক্ষিণাঞ্চলের বৃহৎ গুঠিয়া মসজিদ। ২০০৩ সালে ১৪ একর জায়গার ওপর শুরু হয় বায়তুল আমান জামে মসজিদ ঈদগা কমপ্লেক্স তৈরির কাজ, শেষ হয় ২০০৬ সালে। পরে গুঠিয়ার নামেই মসজিদটি পরিচিতি লাভ করে। চাংগুরিয়া গ্রামের ব্যবসায়ী এস সরফুদ্দিন আহমেদ এটির নির্মাণ ব্যয় বহন করেন। কমপ্লেক্সের মূল প্রবেশপথের ডানে বড় পুকুর। পুকুরের পশ্চিম দিকে মসজিদ, একসঙ্গে প্রায় দেড় হাজার মুসলি্ল নামাজ পড়তে পারে। মসজিদ লাগোয়া মিনারটির উচ্চতা ১৯৩ ফুট। ঈদগার প্রবেশপথের দুই ধারে দুটি ফোয়ারা আছে। বরিশাল শহরের নথুল্লাবাদ বাসস্ট্যান্ড থেকে বানারীপাড়ার উদ্দেশে ১৫ মিনিট পর পর বাস ছাড়ে। মসজিদে যেতে ভাড়া লাগে ১৪ টাকা।
